- Earned Master of Science in Education including the Mind, Brain, and Teaching graduate certificate at Johns Hopkins University
- Holds valid Maryland State Department of Education Teaching Certificate in Special Education, Middle School Math, Business, and Spanish.
- Served as special education caseload manager for over one hundred high school students, in both general education classrooms and public separate day school settings.
- Taught Math, Spanish, English Second Language and Business courses for twelve years in public secondary education with the majority of the experience teaching students with social & emotional difficulties.
- Earned Bachelor of Arts in Business Management from Washington College with concentrations in Psychology and Spanish.
- Memberships include Pi Lambda Theta Honor Society, Phi Theta Kappa International, and Multiples of America
- Serves as Alumni Correspondent for baccalaureate class Of 2004 at Washington College
